During his tenure, he focused on devising strategies to reduce costs in various areas such as transportation, healthcare, taxes, pensions, and local government operations. Before his work in Naperville, Caldwell spent seven years at the Social Security Administration. In 2011, he assumed the role of Director of African American Outreach for the DuPage County Republican Party, the largest Republican county organization in Illinois. Additionally, Caldwell contributed to Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign as an advance staffer.
