In this role, she was responsible for producing and anchoring nightly teases and also took charge of producing and anchoring the 10 pm newscast.

In the years 2012 to 2013, Sharla briefly served as a Sports Anchor at NBC Sports Philadelphia, where she anchored the 6 pm and 10 pm “Sportsnite” on weeknights. Additionally, she provided live reports for the Phillies Pre-Game.

Before joining WNEP-TV, McBride worked as a Sports Reporter at KTXS-TV from 2007 to 2008. In this role, she covered high school and college sports and served as the beat reporter for the Dallas Cowboys, covering their home games.
